Graduate (1997) and Doctor (2007) in Economic and Business Sciences, and Insurance Actuary (1997) by the UPV/EHU.



At the UPV/EHU I have taught many different subjects in very different degrees.



Occasionally, I have taught financial immunization as a guest or through the Erasmus+ programme at the University of Malaga and the Nicolo-Cusano Telematic University in Rome.



I have taught in the Basque College of Economists Homologated Training Courses for the purposes of compulsory training for both auditors and accredited accountants.



I have held, for many years, different positions and functions of university management in the UPV/EHU.



I have intervened as an expert in different media, such as ETB1, ETB2, Onda Vasca, Cadena SER, Radio Vitoria, El Correo Español del Pueblo Vasco, El Diario Vasco, Berria, La Sexta...



Member of the Social Welfare Research Group of the UPV/EHU -Unit Associated to the University Institute for Research on Social Welfare Policies, Poli-welfare of the University of Valencia-.



My main lines of research are financial immunization and social welfare.



I have presented multiple papers in different international and national congresses and I have published in different journals such as, for example, Anales del Instituto de Actuarios Españoles, Análisis Financiero, Anales de Economía Aplicada, Economic Research-Ekonomska istraživanja, etc.
