Holds degrees in literary theory and comparative literature from the University of Barcelona and Basque philology in the University of the Basque Country ( EHU/UPV ). He is a lecturer in the Department of Linguistics and Basque Studies at the EHU/UPV where he teaches contemporary Basque literature.
Among his other publications are the anthological sample Euskal narratiba garaikidea: katalogo bat (Contemporary Basque narrative: A catalog), and his articles on literary criticism for the Berria newspaper, and various studies on children’s and young adult literatura.
