He studied the degree of Classical Philology (1999) and the doctorate in Literary Studies and Comparative Literature (2017) at the University of the Basque Country. Since 2012 he works as a professor at that university. Currently teaches Greek language and literature in various degrees at the university.
Recipient of a predoctoral research grant from the Basque Government, he has visited the University of Hamburg on several occasions. His line of research focuses on the old literary theory and criticism recoverable in Greek rhetorical and exegetical texts, especially in the scholia. He is the author of several publications and has participated in several national and international conferences.
