Industrial Engineer from the UPV / EHU since 2003 and Doctor in Industrial Engineering from the UPV / EHU since 2010, currently occupies a position as Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the UPV / EHU, where he teaches Mechanics and Applied Mechanics in 2nd Degree in Industrial Technology Engineering since 2008 and Mechatronics in the Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering since 2014. He also teaches Verification and Calibration of Machine Tools, Dynamic Machine Behavior: Vibrations in the Process and Mechatronics in the Title linked to Degree in Machine tools since 2008.
He is a member of the Compmech research group (www.ehu.es/compmech), group A of the Basque university system. He has directed and co-directed 3 doctoral theses (1 international). It has a six-year term recognized by CNEAI. He is coauthor of 28 publications in international journals indexed in JCR (index h of 12, according to WOS), has more than 40 participations in national and international congresses and is co-author of a patent.
His areas of interest are the mechatronics of machine tools, robots and rehabilitation systems.
