Ainhoa Saitua Iribar has a degree in Economics and Business Studies (1994) and a PhD from the UPV/EHU (2013).

As University School Teacher (1999), since joining the Department of Financial Economics I (1994) she has taught undergraduate courses in the area of Accounting, both in the Faculty of Economics and Business and in the Faculty of Labour Relations and Human Resources. She also teaches at the postgraduate level in Social and Labour Auditing and Consultancy, as well as at the official Masters in Human Resources and Employment Management, and in Auditing, Accounts and Higher Accounting, approved by the ICAC, in which she explains topics related to Equity.

He has contributed to more than 20 national and international congresses, and has published more than 15 articles on subjects related to accounting regulations, economic-financial analysis of industrial cooperatives in the Basque Country, disclosure of information about personnel by companies, incorporation of the gender perspective, and on the implementation of active methodologies for learning, the organisation of work training Stages or Dual Training.

She was an invited speaker at the II Conference of the Advanced Centre for the Development of Organizational Talent Metrics (CAMTO) organised by the Institute of Knowledge Engineering (IIC) and at the Master in Human Resources Management of the Autonomous University of Madrid (2018).
