A1 level of excellence in the evaluation of UNIQUAL. He was a Visiting Fellow at Yale University (1988), Kingston University (1999) and at London School of Economics – European Institute - Cañada Blanch Centre (2010-2011, and won the "Sustatu" prize from the Basque Government (1990). Member of the committee of experts to evaluate research projects MCYT, the panel of external experts of the Academy program ANECA for national accreditation, and the commission project monitoring and evaluating the National Plan of ANEP. He has directed or participated in 35 competitive research projects, both domestic and international.
