I am graduated in Contemporary History (Deusto University, 2008). I have spent a whole year in Helsinki University (Finland), with the Erasmus program (2006-2007). Master in Contemporary History (Basque Country University, 2009) and PhD in Political Sciences, with International Mention (University of Santiago de Compostela, 2016).

Broadly speaking, my PhD dissertation is the making of working class movement in Biscay (1890-1916) and the history of the Basque Socialist Party. I have studied the topic by treating emotions and experience as the formative forces of the class conscience. Due to this theoretical focus, I have spent two research periods at Duke University (2012 and 2015), under the supervision of Professor William M. Reddy. I am also specialized in oral history, considering that the individual experience and the making of the memory are important elements for understanding the past.

I have written several articles in national and international scientific journals and presented papers in several conferences. The main topics in which I have focused have been historiography, contemporary history, political theory history, oral history, and anthropology.I havepublishedtwobooks “Los resistentes, relato socialista sobre la violencia de ETA, 1984-2011” (2017) and “Emociones obreras, política socialista.
