The Observatory for Basque Media has published the yearbook for 2016: Euskal Hedabideen Urtekaria 2016. The yearbook was presented at the Basque Book and Disc Fair in Durango, at a round table held on 5th December. Txema Ramirez de la Piscina, HGH's principal researcher, took part in the presentation along with Alberto Barandiaran, director of the Basque media association Hekimen, Josu Amezaga, principal researcher of the group Nor of UPV / EHU, and Libe Mimenza, coordinator of the Observatory for Basque Media.

Among the works published in the yearbook is an article by the group HGH, written by Txema Ramirez de la Piscina, Beatriz Zabalondo, Alazne Aiestaran and Antxoka Agirre, which proposes a methodology for the measurement of quality in local media: "Tokian tokiko aldizkarien kalitate-indizeen neurketa". The article analyzes the quality of the content in the local magazines Guaixe, Eta Kitto, Anboto and Alea.

This is the second yearbook published by the Observatory for Basque Media. The Observatory was created in January 2016 through a collaboration agreement between the Hekimen association, the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU), the University of Mondragón and the University of Deusto.
