Born in 1971, she obtained her PhD in Chemistry (UPV / EHU, 2001) and she is University lecturer in the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the UPV / EHU (2009). She is member of the IBeA research group and has published more than 70 articles in international journals and book chapters in both research and teaching, has supervised 3 doctoral theses and more than 30 bachelor's and master's degree final projects. She has participated in more than 30 competitive projects and projects with companies on issues related to environmental samples (water, soils,  biota), food and agriculture residues, organic compounds, gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, encapsulation, passive sampling.

She is currently academic secretary of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the UPV/EHU.
