Degree in Chemistry in 2008, Environmental Contamination and Toxicology Master in 2009, international PhD degree in 2013 and Extraordinary Doctoral Award in 2015, all of them in the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (UPV/EHU). Nowadays, associate professor in the department of Analytical Chemistry of the Science and Technology Faculty. Author of more than 43 articles indexed in the WOS with an h-index of 15. More than 60 communications to national and international congresses. Participation in more than 25 projects nationals, regionals and/or with enterprises. Pre-doctoral stay at the University of Parma (Italy) in 2012.

During her career she has focused on the development of new analytical methodologies for the diagnosis, conservation and rehabilitation of cultural heritage, as well as the development of new conservation materials. In this sense, she has made important advances in the use of natural products for the restoration of different materials. In addition, she has studied the interaction between built heritage, air pollution and the environment. The main working techniques used for this are ion chromatography, Raman spectroscopy and XRF, among others. Some of the most relevant works are carried out in Pompeii Archaeological Park, Valencia Cathedral or Goya's works.
