PhD in Chemical Engineering from UPV/EHU (2019, International Mention, Cum Laude), specialized in perovskite-type catalysts for NOx reduction in diesel engines, with a research stay at IRCELyon (France). Graduated in Chemical Engineering (2013) and MSc in Chemical Engineering and Sustainable Development (2014) from UPV/EHU.

Currently, he is an interim lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering. He has conducted postdoctoral research in the TQSA group, obtaining competitive fellowships (DOKBERRI 2020-II and UPV/EHU Doctoral Specialization Fellowship 2021). He has participated in 11 research projects (9 publicly funded and 2 in industry collaboration), working with companies such as the Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia (CABB) and Kronospan Chemicals S.L., focusing on material and process optimization.

He has published 25 scientific articles (14 as the first author, 17 in Q1 journals), 1 book chapter, 1 patent, and contributed to 30+ conferences, reaching an h-index of 16. His research was awarded the 2024 SusChem Spain Award (Investiga category) for the best 2023 scientific publication. He is also a reviewer for high-impact journals.

In teaching, he has delivered over 37.3 ECTS in Análisis Económico de Procesos Químicos, Cinética Química de Procesos Químicos y Experimentación en Ingeniería Química I y II. He has supervised 15 Bachelor’s Theses and tutored 5 mandatory internships.

He was Chair of the Organizing Committee for the IV Encuentro de Jovénes de la SECAT (2020) and has contributed to scientific outreach through Radio Euskadi, the UPV/EHU magazine, and specialized forums.
