Abbreviated CV

I got my Bachelor's (2014) and Master's (2016) degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). In 2022, I completed my doctoral studies, receiving my Ph.D. with a thesis titled, “Implementation of primary strategies for the improvement of biomass steam gasification in a spouted bed reactor,” and I was awarded the Extraordinary Doctoral Prize. Since 2016, my research has been conducted within the Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization Group (CPWV), focusing primarily on the valorization of various waste streams (plastics, biomass, sewage sludge, etc.) through pyrolysis and gasification to produce fuels and value-added products. The work carried out during these years has resulted in 28 publications in JCR indexed journals, 10 of which are the result of collaborative work with international research groups, and 3 book chapters. These publications have been well-received in the literature, receiving 1117 citations, and achieving an h-index of 16 (Scopus). Additionally, I have participated in 15 competitive research projects funded by the Basque Government, the Spanish Ministry, and the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
