My research activity has been carried out in the Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization Group (PROCAT-VARES), as a predoctoral researcher from 2015-2019 (obtaining the PhD distinction “Cum Laude” with International Mention) and as a postdoctoral researcher from 2019 up to now (obtaining a postdoctoral grant [DOKBERRI 2019-II] in the UPV/EHU). The research conducted is mainly based on the recovery of wastes (plastics, biomass, sewage sludge…) by pyrolysis and gasification in order to obtain valuable fuels and products, which will be key compounds for the development of Biorefineries. This activity has led to 26 publications in JCR indexed journals (23 Q1 and 3 Q2), and 3 book chapters. These publications have been well accepted in the literature, receiving 500 citations, having reached an index h of 12 (Scopus). Moreover, I participate in 7 Competitive Research Projects funded by the Basque Government, Spain’s Ministries and the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
