I am a political scientist and historian of political thought specializing in Brazilian constitutional traditions, liberalism, conservatism, and the reception of European ideas in Latin America. I am the author of several books on the intellectual construction of the Brazilian State and co-editor of volumes on constitutional theory, independence, and ideology. My work bridges scholarship and public debate, drawing from political theory, intellectual history, and comparative politics. I am also a columnist, editor of Insight Inteligência, and host of the program “Diálogos com a Inteligência”.
