Daniela Stanciu-Păscărița

Teaching assistant in the Department of History, Heritage and Protestant Theology, Faculty of Socio-Human Sciences, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania

Her research focuses on sociability, leisure and public spaces in the late Habsburg empire and the postimperial realities of multiethnic communities in Transylvania and Banat.

She has finished working on her postdoctoral project, Becoming a Minority in Greater Romania. Integration and Forms of Political Sociability of the Transylvanian Saxons (POL-SOC-SAS), and is currently working in the ELABCHROM project. Recent published works include the edited volume (together with Rudolf Gräf), Schimbarea loialităților și reorganizare instituțională. Germanii din România 1918 – 1928 [Change of loialties and institutional reorganisation. The Germans in Romania 1918 - 1928](Bucarest: Polirom, 2025) the book Loisir în vremuri de pace și război.
