Edward Jones Corredera's work focuses on the history of international law and political economy in the Iberian World and modern Latin America.  He is the author of The Diplomatic Enlightenment: Spain, Europe, and the Age of Speculation (Brill, 2021) and Odious Debt: Bankruptcy, International Law, and the Making of Latin America (Oxford, 2024). He is also co-author of The Unseen History of International Law (Oxford, 2025) and editor of Supplicant Empires: Searching for the Iberian World in Global History (Brepols, 2025). His work has appeared in journals like the English Historical Review, the Journal of Early Modern History, and History.
