Anas Damoun is a PhD candidate enrolled in the Quantitative Finance and Economics doctoral program, and a pre-doctoral researcher at the University of the Basque Country (UPV EHU). He is a Business School graduate and has obtained a master's degree in Economics from the University of Granada (UGR) in 2020.



Damoun's area of research is Energy Economics, specifically Electricity and Natural Gas Markets. He is investigating issues related to power markets' liberalisation and interactions between the energy markets of North Africa and Southern Europe.
