Architect since 1996 and PhD from UPV/EHU since 2017, with an International Thesis Cum Laude. Associate Professor of Architectural Design in the Department of Architecture at UPV/EHU. Vice Dean of Mobility, International Affairs, and Plurilingualism. Coordinator of the second year of the Bachelor's Degree program. He has been a professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD/MIT), a visiting professor at the National University of Singapore, Northeastern University in Boston, the Harvard Master of Design in Bilbao, and the universities of Deusto and Cantabria. Additionally, he has delivered lectures in various parts of the world.

He has worked on projects of various scales in architecture, urban planning, spatial planning, and industrial design. He has actively participated in the regeneration of Metropolitan Bilbao, contributing to both the Territorial Spatial Strategic Plan and specific works. He has received awards from the Basque Board of Architects, Media Architecture Biennale, B-Awards, and Smart City Expo World Congress, among others. He has registered several patents and founded the startup 'Nerei' based on his own patent.

Member of the Ekopol Research Group and the doctoral program of the Faculty of Fine Arts. His research focuses on two fundamental areas: the common processes and methodologies in the teaching and practice of architecture, design, and art, and the study of cities and mobility in the transition to sustainability.
