PhD lecturer at the Audiovisual Communication Department at the University of The Basque Country UPV/EHU since 2004. She lectures on non-fiction scriptwriting, and in the master course on Feminist Studies.



She has participated in international research projects, she was a member of RIVIC (International Interdisciplinary Network on Image), MAPCOM I+D group, IP of the Scandinavian audiovisual studies research project of UPV/EHU BROEN and UPV/EHU's IKERFESTS project.



In her doctoral thesis she examined stereotypes about women in Lars von Trier's films. She has been visiting lecturer at the University of Nevada, Reno (USA), in Film Studies Department at Lund University (Sweden) at the University of Toulouse II - Le Mirail (France) and Barcelona’s Obrador Internacional de Dramaturgia Beckett center.

Her research lines are focused on the Basque and Scandinavian audiovisual system and on the methods of creating audiovisual stories linked to the rescue of the archival heritage from a gender perspective.



Filmmaker and film critic, connected to EITB since its beginnings, she collaborates with different local and international institutions disseminating the culture of film. After his films, 'Irrintziaren Oihartzunak' (2016) and 'Lurralde Hotzak'- 'Cold Lands' (2018) she is working on his third project: 'Tétouan'.
