The Doktorego Eguna event, organised by the UPV/EHU Doctoral School (DocS), was held on 29th June at 11:00 a.m. in the Mitxelena auditorium at the Bizkaia Aretoa in Bilbao. The event was also streamed.

The session included a special guest performance by the acclaimed bertsolari Miren Artetxe Sarasola, PhD in sociolinguistics, and the final of the “Open the door to our doctoral programmes” competition, in which teams of doctoral students from the DocS presented a video aimed at promoting the UPV/EHU doctoral training programmes. The members of these teams came from 9 different countries, and during the event, two teams connected live from Chile and Colombia. Over 1200 people took part in the online voting.
