Elegibility Criteria

CANDIDATE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

In the selection process, researchers of any nationality that comply with the following basic eligibility criteria can participate:

  • Be an Experienced Researcher (ER): candidates must hold a doctoral degree (PhD) at the date of the call deadline.
  • Comply with the MSCA mobility rule: not have resided or carried out their main activity (living, work, studies, etc.) in the country of the recruiting institution (either France or Spain, as selected) for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the date of the call deadline.
  • Applicants cannot be permanent employees of any of the hosting organisations nor Partner Organisations
  • Applicants must be able to communicate fluently in English (written and spoken). This last aspect will be checked during the interview process.
  • The candidates  must submit a complete application, including all required documentation before the established deadline (11th January 2023 at 15:00 CET)
  • The candidates must submit their application using in the ADAGIO on-line platform

PROPOSAL ELEGIBILITY:

  • The proposal must be in English. Any incomplete proposals will be rejected.
  • An applicant may only submit one application per call; unsuccessful applicants from the 1st call are invited to resubmit a proposal in the 2nd call.
  • The proposal must be within one (or more) of the 5 themes of the programme.
  • The candidate must select only 1 research group.
  • All ethical standards required by the European Union must be adhered to.
  • The proposal must be received on or before the call deadline through the online application system. A full application pack must be submitted, containing the following documents:
  1. An online application form with your contact details, including your choice of the hosting institution and the specific research group. Note that all the fields mark with red asterisk * are compulsory. The list of the host organizations’ groups and research lines, including the details of the group leader(s), as well as the proposal template, is available on the ADAGIO website.
  2. A scanned copy of your official identification document (passport or ID card)
  3. Proposal, including CV and research proposal according to the proposal template provided within the Application pack.
  4. A scanned copy of official PhD certificate or substituting document.
  5. A Letter of motivation expressing your interest in the ADAGIO programme (max. 1 page)
