Summary:

A THESIS WRITTEN IN EUSKARA WITH TWO DIFFERENT PARTS WHICH ARE NEVERTHELESS LINKED WITHIN THE AREA OF KNOWLEDGE OF JOURNALISM. THE THESIS ANALYZES THE JOURNALISTIC LANGUAGE WHICH HAS A DIACHRONIC INFLUENCE ON THE LINGUISTIC AND SOCIO-LINGUISTIC ASPECTS OF THE JOURNALISTIC PRAXIS IN THE THREE DOMINANT MEDIA. WRITTEN PRESS, RADIO AND TV - ALL CONFINED TO THE SITUATION REGARDING THE BASQUE COUNTRY AND JOURNALISM IN THE BASQUE LANGUAGE.
IN THE SECOND PART OF THE THESIS, MR. SARASUA MARITXALAR THEN CARRIES OUT A PHILOLOGICAL SCRUTINY OF VARIOUS OLD JOURNALISTIC PUBLICATIONS IN EUSKARA, GROUPING TOGETHER WORDS AND LINGUISTIC EXPRESSIONS ACCORDING TO GRAMMATICAL CATEGORIES IN A NON-EXHAUSTIVE STUDY.
