Summary:

The personalization of contents is being increasingly offered by digital editions of the press in Spain as a way of adapting to trends in the new Anglo-Saxon media and to the needs of Internet users.
For their part, technologies for personalizing any online content (such as "information search agents") make the likes of Daily Me, Diario-yo or Mi-diario an increasingly viable proposition.
The aim of this PhD thesis is to analyze the range of personalization of contents of digital editions of the most important media in Spain at a time of experimentation in the search for greater levels of inter-.relation with readers.
