Summary:

This thesis studies the influence of new technologies in internal information and communication management in the company. A review of the technological instruments that have been used as communications tools is carried out, and the uses, services, advantages and disadvantages of an Intranet are studied in depth.
In view of this new scenario, communication in all directions (upward, downward, horizontal and transversal) is profoundly affected, offering users the chance to be not merely consumers of information, but also generators of that information.
By analyzing twenty companies from different sectors and of different sizes, the effectiveness of this new tool is tested in the creation and distribution of and access to the information resource, in addition to the strengthening of corporate culture and knowledge management.
