Material resources

All common areas of the University of the Basque Country are available (libraries, telematic rooms, etc.) in addition to classrooms, laboratories and the pilot food floor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, in addition to the laboratories where different research groups which are integrated in this doctoral programme usually develop their work in their respective centres.

Each of the research groups involved in the Food Safety and Quality Doctoral Programme has research laboratories with equipment in accordance with their line of research.

In addition to all the centres where the research work making up future doctoral thesis will be conducted, there are also laboratories for each research group, with specific services of general or common use, where there is appropriate equipment for different instrumental techniques, and staff available to researchers.

The UPV / EHU has central Libraries and theme Libraries. Likewise, each Department participating in the PhD Programme offers reading and library seminars with specific library collections.

Access to scientific information is guaranteed through access to databases such as WEB OF KNOWLEDGE or SCIFINDER SCHOLAR. Access thereto takes place directly from faculty, department or telematic room computers, or personal computers provided to doctoral candidates by the Research Vice-Chancellorship. Moreover, at present, all centres have electronic subscriptions to major scientific journals providing immediate access to any scientific information of any time.
