Nora Unceta obtained the Degree of Pharmacy (1999) and hold the PhD from the UPV/EHU (2004). She is a lecturer in the Analytical Chemistry Department of the Faculty of Pharmacy since 2004, and she serves as Associate Professor since 2017. She holds three 5-year lecturing periods. She gives lessons in the Degree in Pharmacy, the Degree in Environmental Sciences and in the Master´s Degree in Forensic Analysis.
She is member of the METABOLOMIPs research group. She holds three 6-year research periods. She is co-author of 50 scientific articles in international journals, 4 book-chapters and 45 contributions to congresses (h index=25). She has collaborated in more than 40 research projects and contracts. Her research focuses on two lines: the development of devices for biochemical analysis using artificial biomimetic receptors based on molecularly imprinted technology and the identification of biomarkers by mass-spectrometry based metabolomic studies.
She is the coordinator of the University Master´s Degree in Forensic Analysis. She is also member of the University Commission for Instructional Evaluation of the UPV/EHU. Previously, she has been the Vice-Dean of Students and End-of-Degree Project and member of the University Senate.
