Se trata de una asignatura introductoria que aborda los principales concentos de marketing y tiene, para la mayoría del alumnado continuidad en el segundo cuetrimestre, en donde se abordan, de modo aplicado herramientas del mix de marketing.

La evalución se distribuirá de la siguiente forma el 70% de la calificación se hará mediante un exámen escrito a desarrollar y el 30% se repartirá entre los seminarios y las clases prácticas (Ejercicios casos trabajos y exposiciones).

La segunda convocatoria consta de una prueba final diseñada para evaluar las competencias de la asignatura con la que todo el alumnado podrá optar al 100% de la puntuación. Esta prueba consta de dos partes:

1. un examen tipo test que supone el 70% de la calificación y,

2. una prueba complementaria que mide las competencias adquiridas a través de ejercicios y problemas (30% de la calificación)

El alumnado que haya realizado evaluación continua durante la primera convocatoria podrá elegir entre examinarse solo de la prueba tipo test, manteniendo la calificación de la evaluación continua o examinarse de ambas partes, en cuyo caso, tendrá opción de lograr la máxima calificación solo con el examen.
