Description and Contextualization of the SubjectToggle Navigation

The Final Degree Project (TFG) involves the completion by each student, individually, of a project, report or original study under the supervision of one or more directors, in which the training content received, capacities, competences and skills acquired during the teaching period of the Degree are integrated and developed.

The TFG must be assessable and demonstrate that the Bachelor's degree candidate possesses the minimum basic keys for their future development as a professional. It must take the form of an academic-professional research project that requires students to apply their knowledge, creativity and originality, which implies a test of maturity before starting their professional practice.

In order to register for the Final Degree Project, it will be necessary to have registered for all the subjects required to complete the syllabus.

Theoretical and practical contentToggle Navigation

Students will develop a project in which they will show their achievements in the study and assimilation of knowledge, in the resolution of problems and tasks and in the mastery of the skills associated with the degree; and they will be responsible for their learning process.

The TFG must be oriented towards the application of the general competences associated with the degree, to enable students to search for, manage, organise and interpret relevant data, normally in their area of study, to make judgements that include a reflection on relevant social, scientific, technological or ethical issues, and to facilitate the development of critical, logical and creative thinking and judgement. The TFG can be an empirical, theoretical or practical work of professional nature.

MethodologyToggle Navigation

The methodology of this module is based on the autonomous work of the student guided by his/her tutor. Students must attend an orientation seminar on how to carry out the TFG. The tutor will be in charge of facilitating the student's learning process by guiding them in the preparation of the work, its writing and oral presentation through different training activities and tutorials. In short, the methodology focuses on the student as the key element of the training system, with the teacher-tutor participating as a catalyst and facilitator of the learning process.

In any case, the preparation of the TFG requires the student: a) to identify relevant and interesting questions to advance in the knowledge of a specific area of the Degree; b) to make decisions about the type of TFG to be presented to answer the questions posed; c) to collect, analyse and interpret critically information; d) to write the report with academic rigour and e) to make its oral defence.
