Master´s Degree in Development and International Cooperation

The current global scenario is characterized by deep asymmetries and important challenges such as the environmental crisis, poverty and inequality. The Master's Degree in Development and International Cooperation introduces students to the study of the complex variety of phenomena that affect development processes.

On a theoretical level, it  approaches development processes from the paradigms of human development, sustainability and gender equity. On a practical level, the Master's Degree is aimed at providing professional training on international cooperation as an instrument to promote peaceful coexistence and development on a global scale. To that end, the training program is complemented with on-site training in international cooperation projects in countries of the Global South.

The Master's Degree in Development and International Cooperation also provides access to research and doctoral programs, in particular the Doctoral Program in Development Studies, offered by the Hegoa Institute and the Departments of Applied Economics, Quantitative Methods, Sociology, Business Law and the Gezki Institute.
