Project summary:

Digital transformation initiatives often fail due to a lack of attention to teacher professional development and research-based design. This results in ineffective programs that are hard for educators to integrate. To improve their impact and address the gender gap in STEM, it's crucial to implement pedagogically effective and inclusive teaching practices that encourage female participation from an early age.

The Co-Think project is addressed to pre-service secondary school teachers, University teachers and Secondary School Teachers. The project has two primary objectives:

- To develop a functional STEAM approach for pre-service teacher training with a gender perspective and to foster competence in teaching computational thinking.

- To supports the digital transition by integrating computational thinking into STEM teaching.
