Spain: Long-term residence authorization for the pursuit of higher studies

If you are a non-EU student coming to EHU with an Erasmus+ or Erasmus Mundus exchange from your European university, EHU (not you) must make a communication of intracommunity mobility to the competent Spanish authorities.

• If you are an Erasmus+ exchange student traveling with a residence permit for studies from another EU country, contact info.welcomentre@ehu.eus as soon as possible.
• If you are a master's student under Erasmus Mundus, contact your master's program at EHU.

Upon entering Spain, don't forget to:

1. Either obtain the entry stamp in your passport, or go to the National Police within your first 72 hours in Spain to obtain a 'Declaration of entry into National Territory.'

2. And request written evidence that EHU has made the intracommunity communication within the first 30 days of your arrival.
