Biography

Ignacio de Loyola Isla Gordillo completed his Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences at the Miguel Hernández University of Elche (2022), studding one year at the Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca in Milan (Italy) in the frame of Eramus+ Program. Afterwards, he obtained the Master´s degree in Environmental and Sustainable Chemistry at the University of Alicante (2023).

In October 2023 he joined the Group `Materials + Technologies´ (GMT) of the Chemical Engineering and Environmental Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Gipuzkoa (UPV/EHU) with a research contract

Research

His research line is focused on the development of thermosetting materials and vitrimers based on epoxy resin from renewable resources.
