Biography

Tanisha completed her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy at Gurugram University, India, 2022. She was awarded the prestigious NIPER Institute Fellowship to pursue a Master of Science (Pharm.) in Pharmaceutics at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. She graduated in 2024 with the Gold Medal for academic excellence, with her thesis research focused on the development of PLGA nanoparticles for the treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. She contributed to several research projects, further strengthening her expertise in different drug delivery systems and nanomedicine for healthcare applications.

In 2025, she joined the Materials + Technologies (GMT) group as Predoctoral Researcher in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at the University of the Basque Country (EHU). She is currently conducting her doctoral research under the supervision of Dr. Oihana Gordobil and Dr. Arantxa Eceiza, focusing on lignin for cosmetic applications.

Research

Her research focuses on the development of innovative lignin-based nanostructured formulations for skin and cosmetic applications, using sustainable synthesis strategies that emphasize precision, reproducibility, and achieve high performance with minimal environmental impact.
