Jone Ascorbebeitia Bilbatua is graduated in Mathematics from the University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU and she holds a Master’s Degree in Banking and Quantitative Finance. She has taught Econometrics and Microeconomics.



Currently she is a Ph.D. student of the Doctoral Programme in Quantitative Finance and Economics in the Department of Cuantitative Methods at the University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU under the supervision of Professors Eva Ferreira García and Susan Orbe Mandaluniz. Her research is focused on non-parametric estimation, copulas, non-gaussian dependence, time-varying dependence, … . She has also participated as speaker or discussant in different international conferences.



Jone is member of the Postgraduate Committee in the University of the Basque Country, UPV/EHU.
