Bachelor’s degree (2005) and doctor (2010) in Pharmacy from the UPV / EHU, in 2012. From 2017, he is Associate professor of Pharmacy and Food Sciences.



As researcher, two have been the main lines in which he has worked. The first one includes the study of functional ingredients (fatty acids and polyphenols) with possible application in the regulation of body weight. In this field, it must be highlighted the research internship performed in the laboratory of Dr. Catherine Postic. Currently, he is member of the GLUTENS consolidated group, participating in the determination of gluten content in foods, as well as in the creation of tools for transfer of knowledge and nutrition education.

https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5484-2671 <br /><br /><br /><br />As far as its TEACHING ACTIVITY is concerned, he teaches in the degrees of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy and Food Science and Technology, and in the Masters of Nutrition and Health and Healthy Aging and Quality of Life of the UPV/EHU , and of Quality, Development and Innovation of Food offered by the University of Valladolid. He has implemented active teaching methodologies in his subjects, and is part of the ZEHARGAITUZ group, accredited as an IKD structured teaching team of the UPV/EHU.
