Acquired skills

These are the main competences for which this degree will qualify you:

  • Knowledge of basic subjects and technology to enable students to learn new methods and theories, instilling in them the considerable versatility required to adapt to new situations.
  • Sufficient knowledge to undertake measurements, calculations, assessments, valuations, surveys, studies, reports, work plans and other similar tasks.
  • The ability to analyse and assess the social and environmental impact of technical solutions.
  • The ability to apply the principles and methods of quality.
  • The ability to draft, sign and develop projects within the field of industrial engineering whose purpose, according to the knowledge acquired pursuant to the provisions of section 5 of this order, is the construction, refurbishment, repair, conservation, demolition, manufacture, installation, assembly or operation of structures, mechanical equipment, energy facilities, electrical and electronic facilities, industrial plants and facilities, and manufacturing processes and automation.
  • The ability to handle specifications, regulations and rules of mandatory compliance.
  • The ability to manage the activities involved in the engineering projects described in the previous section.
  • The ability to organise and plan within the corporate sphere, as well as within other institutions and organisations.
  • The ability to resolve problems through initiative, decision-making, creativity, critical reasoning and convey knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of Industrial Engineering.
  • The ability to work in a multilingual and multidisciplinary environment.
  • The knowledge, understanding and ability to apply the necessary legislation within the performance of the professional duties of an Industrial Technical Engineer.
  • To adopt a responsible attitude, an organised approach to work and a willingness to learn considering the challenge posed by the need for lifelong training.
  • To apply the specific strategies of scientific methodology: analyse the situation and its issues both qualitatively and quantitatively. Propose hypotheses and solutions using the specific models of Industrial Engineering, in the specialism of industrial electronics.
  • To work efficiently in a team integrating capabilities and knowledge for adopting decisions within the field of Industrial Engineering, in the specialism of industrial electronics.
