Assistant professor at the department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and member of the research group NOR. She earned her PhD in Social, Political and Cultural Studies with the dissertation titled 'Understanding the mediated memories of the basque conflict: a discursive analysis of young people's perceptions, engagement and positioning strategies towards their collective past' (2023).

Previous degrees: BA in Audiovisual Communication by the University of the Basque Country (2015) and MA in Discourse Studies by the Pompeu Fabra University and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2016). Before that, she used to work as a journalist and reporter at the daily newspaper 'Berria' (2010-2018).

Topics of interest: social and political conflicts, youth, discourse analysis, narratives, construction of identities, transmission of memory.
