PhD in Linguistics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and researcher at HiTT Linguistics Group ('Hizkuntzalaritza Teorikorako Taldea-HiTT', 'Basque Group of Theoretical Linguistics') in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Philology and History of the UPV/EHU, I teach in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication (Leioa) and in the Faculty of Letters (Vitoria-Gasteiz) in the area of Spanish Language.

Linguistic compositionality, the interface between syntax and semantics, and psycholinguistics, in general terms, are some of my main fields of interest; as well as the expression of comparison in natural languages, relative clauses, quantification, coordination, focus and ellipsis, among other more specific topics. In this area, my work focuses mainly on the study of linguistic composition, and my main goal is to find patterns of interlinguistic variation using the methodology of comparative syntax and semantics.

Since 2020 I have been part of the LindyLab team and I am particularly interested in studying the production of narratives, the types of connection between sentences or the strategies to encode the informational structure in Spanish in people with ASD and TDL/SLI.

I am also interested in the latest developments on language and gender, especially in relation to the use, perception and attitudes towards the different inclusive language strategies in Spanish.
