Amaia Alvarez Berastegi
She obtained a PhD in Law at Ulster University (2016) and a BSc in Journalism at the University of Navarre (2007). She also studied two postgraduate taught courses in the area of human rights and transitional Justice (UPV-EHU, 2011; Ulster University, 2012). She has five year experience working as a journalist in the newspapers Berria and Diario de Noticias and she also worked as a freelance correspondent in Ireland for several Basque newspapers. She has lectured at Ulster University and has published four academic articles. She has presented in several international conferences.
