Renishaw RA100 system is coupled to a microprobe and implements a 785 nm diode laser and a Peltier cooled CCD detector. The nominal power laser is 150 mW at the source and neutral filters allow working at 1% (5mW at source and 1 mW at the sample), 10% (50 mW at source and 10 mW at the sample) and 100% (150 mW at the source and 30 mW at the sample) of total power. The microprobe allows focusing the laser around 10-200 μm depending on the used objective (20x or 50x). A video camera helps in the focusing. The spectral resolution is around 2 cm-1. Spectra are acquired with Renishaw Wire 3.2 software.
