She obtained her Chemistry degree from the University of the Basque Country (EHU) in 2023, focusing her final project on removing iron stains from marble using natural hydrogels. In 2024, he completed a Master's degree in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology at the EHU. His research focused on analysing the concentration of soluble salts in soil and tuff samples taken from the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum. In order to continue conducting studies and analyses in Herculaneum, Sara obtained a scholarship through the Basque Government's Pre-doctoral Training Programme for Non-Doctoral Research Staff in 2024, allowing her to pursue her PhD.
