Uxue Uribe Martínez graduated in Marine Sciences from the University of Vigo (2019). In 2021 she obtained her master’s degree in Environmental Pollution and Toxicology from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). In May 2022 she was awarded a pre-doctoral contract for the Training of Research Staff by the UPV/EHU. Since then, she has been working on her thesis on the study of the interactions between microplastics and organic chemical pollutants in coasts and estuaries, within the PLASTeMER project (PID2020-118685RB-I00).
