TEACHING INNOVATION

Teaching innovation and quality

Most of the teachers of the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering actively participate in the continuous improvement of teaching activities taking part in Teaching Innovation Projects (IKDi3 laborategia) and / or in collaborative processes among teachers, administration and services staff and students (transdisciplinary approach) in order to deal with sustainability challenges within the University itself (Campus Bizia Lab).

In addition, some teachers of the department arealso recognized and structured as “IKD Structured Teaching Teams”, having been recognized by the UPV / EHU as groups of professors who perform their teaching aligned with the IKD model, and can be characterized for carrying out their work with a high degree of coordination and a strong commitment to student learning.

Finally, it is worth highlighting the 90.26 points as the average mark obtained by the teaching team of the department in the last Docentiaz Program call, a program for evaluating the teaching activity of UPV / EHU teaching staff certified by ANECA and Unibasq.
