About the course

Renewable energy at sea has great potential, but its use presents a great technological challenge. The harsh environmental conditions require specific advanced knowledge in various scientific and technological fields. The aim of the Renewable Energies in the Marine Environment (REM PLUS) Erasmus Mundus Master's degree is to train specialists with the necessary skills to achieve this technological challenge and, specifically, to respond to the industry's demand for skilled professionals.

The REM PLUS master is a joint Erasmus Mundus Master (EMJMD) offered by four universities: the University of the Basque Country, the National University of Ireland-Cork, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the Central School of Nantes.

The Master is co-financed by the European Union's Erasmus + programme and provides access to doctoral studies.
