Open Your Mind: seminar on creative and critical thinking in innovation

On Thursday, 15 October 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of the Basque Country (EHU) will host the seminar “Open Your Mind: Creative and Critical Thinking in Innovation”, an activity organised within the Degree in Business Administration and Management, in connection with the Major in People and Innovation.

The seminar will be delivered in English by Niels P. van der Mast, PhD, Senior Lecturer at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), and will take place from 11:00 to 14:00 at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Donostia-San Sebastián. This interactive session is designed to encourage students to explore the role of creative and critical thinking in innovation processes. Through a dynamic and participatory format, the seminar will offer students the opportunity to reflect on innovation from a broader perspective and to develop ideas collaboratively.

Although the activity is especially linked to the Major in People and Innovation, it may also be of interest to international students and to other students of the Faculty wishing to strengthen their understanding of innovation, creativity and organisational change in an international learning environment.
