About TSR
TSR (Tratamiento de la Señal y Radiocomunicaciones / Signal Processing and Radiocommunication) is a research lab that belongs to the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao (UPV/EHU/University of the Basque Country) and more precisely to the Dpt. of Communications Engineering of this institution.
STAFF
TSR is composed by 13 professors, 2 postdoctoral researchers, 4 Ph.D. students, 4 researchers contracted for specific projects as well as a variable number of MSc students.
PUBLICATIONS
More than 130 articles published in prestigious and leading international science journal and more than 250 papers in the most relevant international conferences and national conferences.
PHD THESIS
The group takes part in two PhD. Degrees, being one of them the first official engineering area PhD. Degree with the Spanish Government Quality Mention in the University of the Basque Country.
28 PhD thesis have been carried out in the group and 10 more are ongoing.
PROJECTS
TSR research group has lead several projects in cooperation with private companies and public institutions, with a total amount of incomes of more than 5 M€.
RESEARCH STAYS
TSR group members have made several international research stays in multiple countries: Canada, Brazil, South Korea...
INTERNATIONAL SOCIETIES
The group has a very active participation in some of the most relevant regulatory bodies and research societies in order to present proposals to be evaluated by the international community countries.
MATERIAL RESOURCES
The TSR research facilities are located at the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao. The laboratory contains a full range of signal generation and receiving equipment. This infrastructure enables testing a wide variety of receiving and transmitting scenarios.
WHERE ARE WE ?
The TSR Laboratory is located at the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao, Spain. This faculty is in the city centre of Bilbao, between San Mamés soccer stadium and Bilbao Bus Terminal, Bilbao Intermodal.
