This project consisted on the extension of the content of the Manual for Calculation of Pipes with Helicoidal Welding that had already been done years before for STS Tubular Group, S.A. That manual includes the hydraulic and mechanical calculation of pipes with helicoidal welding. Note that STS Tubular Group S.A. is one of the most important manufactures of that type of pipes worldwide.
The manual studies both buried and leave out pipes, as well as the transport and storage conditions. Besides, a software was developed for an easy calculation of all those possibilities.
