Mikel Diez was born in 1982. Received his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Basque Country (Spain) in 2006. He obtained the PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2013. At the moment, he is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao. His research interests are computational kinematics, mechatronics and mechanism design. He is also Faculty Advisor of the Formula Student Bizkaia Team.
