I am a fourth-grade student in English Studies at UPV/EHU. I have always been very interested in the human brain and its functioning, and therefore I decided to participate in the internship offered by the research team The Bilingual Mind. I currently work under the direction of Dr. Miren Arantzeta. Thanks to the Ikasiker scholarship [IkasC_2021_1_0223], I have the opportunity to study the potential decline of semantic processing throughout life.

UPV/EHUko Ingeles Ikasketen graduko 4. mailako ikaslea naiz. Betidanik interes handia izan dut giza burmuinarekiko eta haren funtzionamenduarekiko, eta horregatik erabaki nuen Gogo Elebiduna ikerketa-taldeak eskainitako borondatezko praktiketan parte hartzea. Gaur egun Miren Arantzeta doktorearen zuzendaritzapean egiten dut lan. Ikasiker [IkasC_2021_1_0223] lankidetza-bekari esker, prozesamendu semantikoak bizitzan zehar izan dezakeen gainbehera aztertzeko aukera dut.

Formación:
Soy estudiante de 4º en el grado de Estudios Ingleses de la UPV/EHU. Desde siempre he sentido un gran interés por el cerebro humano y su funcionamiento, de ahí que decidí apuntarme a las prácticas voluntarias ofrecidas por el grupo de investigación La Mente Bilingüe. Actualmente trabajo bajo la dirección de la doctora Miren Arantzeta. Gracias a la beca de colaboración Ikasiker [IkasC_2021_1_0223], tengo la oportunidad de estudiar el potencial declive del procesamiento semántico a lo largo de la vida.
