Professor at the Faculty of Education and Sport (Section of Activity and Sport Sciences) of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) from 1987 to the present. In 2002 she defended her thesis "Modernization, hygienism and education in Vitoria (1865-1931)". He has a six-year research and the evaluation of excellent in the program of teaching quality.
At present her lines of research are two:
a) Physical activity and gender perspective.
b) Paradigm "trauma informed" and its approach to physical activity.
She belongs to the consolidated research group: GIC 18/58 IkHezi: Ikerketa Hezitzailea.
